There’s something so special about a small, intimate wedding, and this beautiful micro wedding in Stratford-upon-Avon was the perfect reminder that you don’t need a huge guest list to create unforgettable memories. With sunshine pouring through the streets of Stratford, these two chose a relaxed ceremony surrounded by their closest people before taking a short stroll to a nearby restaurant to celebrate. Ironically, after choosing a smaller wedding because they don’t love being the centre of attention, they ended up being cheered through the streets by passing school trips as we captured their couples portraits - so some of the laughter captured was definitely awkward 'please just pass by' laughter!
The bride looked incredible in a full sequin dress that sparkled like a disco ball every time the sunlight caught it, creating the most magical atmosphere as they relaxed and has some celebratory drinks together. We also made sure to capture a few photographs with their growing bump too, and I already can’t wait to meet and photograph their little baby when they arrive.
Whether you’re planning a large celebration or a small, intimate wedding day like this one in Stratford-upon-Avon, these moments deserve to be captured in a way that feels relaxed, natural and true to you. I feel so lucky to have captured this chapter for them and even more excited that the next time I see them, there’ll be a tiny new addition in front of my camera too.
If you’re currently planning your own micro wedding and looking for photography coverage that fits your day perfectly, I offer bespoke short coverage options for smaller weddings and intimate ceremonies too. You can get in touch for package information and to chat about your plans - I’d love to hear all about them.
