It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Yep it's arrived.. It's time to discuss CHRISTMAS!! (My favourite time of year!!)
These little Christmas themed sessions are becoming a lovely annual tradition, so ofcourse they are back this year! I've already had a lot of interest, so this year I am opening up four dates of Christmas Mini Shoots!! The first day outdoor session, which are perfect for the whole family and then the last three days will be indoor studio based for little ones.
The Outdoor Mini's will take place on Sunday 6th November, earlier in the year to try and beat the freezing temperatures! and then the Studio Mini's will take place later on from Friday 25th November through to Sunday 27th November. There will be limited spaces available which are booked in and reserved online, so don't wait around to book yours!
Each mini shoot includes:
- 20 minute session
- Private online viewing gallery
- 3 high-resolution downloads, plus the option to purchase more!
The full shoot price is £50, with booking available here from 6pm on Saturday 15th October. Once you have reserved your chosen time slot, you will then be sent the payment information. A £20 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your time slot.
These are the perfect opportunity to get some gorgeous keepsakes of the important people in your life, which you can also use to create personalised Christmas cards or gifts - like frames prints, canvases and wall art! Personal gifts can mean so much more than just a pair of socks or box of choccies - and they really do stand the test of time, you can add them to your decorations and enjoy watching how your family grows and changes each year!

Let's start with the..
Indoor Christmas Mini's
Friday 25th, Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th November
All sessions will be in my studio with a 'Milk & Cookies' theme, in a gorgeous festive colour palette of browns. A minimalistic studio style shoot with gorgeous little festive touches, you can bring your little ones in their favourite Christmas jumper, a cute pair of pj's or just something smart!! We will start off with some simple photographs which can be used all year round, then will create a festive theme with greenery, baubles, milk and ofcourse cookies! .. and there will be Christmas music throughout (with plenty of crazy dance moves from me I'm sure!)
These mini indoor shoots will take place at my home studio set up in Burbage, Leicestershire. There is plenty of parking and a park nearby so you can treat the little ones after to a play in the park too!
Due to backdrop space these mini's are limited to up to 3 children.

Outdoor Christmas Mini's
Sunday 6th November
Natural outdoor mini sessions which are perfect for bigger families - and including you adults in the mix too! These shoots can also be dressed up to be as festive as you like them, you can choose to all wear Christmas jumpers and bring along your craziest hat, or you could keep it simple with neutral coloured knitwear - it's totally up to you!
These sessions will take place in Burbage Common, Hinckley which has the most beautiful wintery look I have found locally - I love it there for photoshoots!!

Now I know many of you don't even want to think about Christmas yet, but the truth is that the earlier you start planning for it the less stress you will get in the lead up - meaning you can really enjoy putting your tree up, watching Christmas films and drinking festive hot chocolates to your hearts delight all through December because you will know you have beautiful gifts already sorted!
The Christmas Photoshoot mini sessions are deliberately being held in November, this is to make sure you can rest easy knowing that you will receive your photographs and products in plenty of time ahead of Christmas.
But remember, there are limited slots available on all days so be sure to grab yours if you’re keen to secure some professional family portraits to use for Christmas photoshoot gifts
If you're still questioning why Christmas portraits are so important... I want to leave you with one last thing - the reason why I decided to do these mini's.
'A family only has a limited number of Christmases before their whole family changes forever'
... that honestly struck a cord with me - it really got me thinking about past years when I had taken photographs of my family and how things had changed so quickly! Especially with the year we have had, having photographs of your little ones to share with family and friends who haven't been able to watch them grow is so amazing! .. and seeing their little excited faces around Christmas is amazing too!
(The reason also could be because I'm a crazy Christmas loving lunatic.. maybe!)
